APM PMQ readiness check

Fifteen original diagnostic items across governance and the business case, planning and resources, risk and change, stakeholders and leadership, and quality, benefits and professional judgement. Three written thinking checkpoints sit between them, because the real paper asks you to construct answers, not only recognise them.

This is a diagnostic, not a pass predictor. It cannot tell you whether you will pass the exam. What it can do is show you which area to work on next.

How the check works

One item at a time with a progress bar. You answer, submit, and then see why the strongest option is strongest and why each plausible alternative is weaker. The written checkpoints ask you to draft an answer, reveal the points a strong answer would cover, and self rate as not yet, partly or confidently.

The exam this prepares you for

The APM Project Management Qualification is a two and a half hour paper of forty questions worth ninety marks, using mixed response formats. There is no single published fixed pass percentage. Always confirm the current format with the awarding body before you book.
