Free project management readiness check

Two short, free diagnostics written by ThinkPM: one for the APM Project Management Qualification and one for the PMP exam as it stands after the July 2026 update. Each takes about fifteen minutes and runs entirely in your browser.

These are diagnostics, not pass predictors. Fifteen items taken once, untimed and unsupervised, cannot forecast an invigilated paper. What they can do is show you which area to work on next.

Choose your diagnostic

The APM PMQ readiness check covers governance and the business case, planning and resources, risk and change, stakeholders and leadership, and quality, benefits and professional judgement, with three written thinking checkpoints. The PMP 2026 readiness check uses fifteen situational items split across People, Process and Business Environment, with predictive, adaptive and hybrid situations.

What you get at the end

An objective diagnostic score, a breakdown by area or domain, your strongest and weakest areas, three priorities to work on next, and a deterministic seven day study plan you can copy or download.
